    THE RIGHT TEAM LOST
Oh boy, Super Bowl XXXVII was almost as much fun as Super Bowl XXXVI. Nothing beats watching the Patriots win, but watching the Raiders lose was a close second. And they didn't just lose, they were throttled.

Best of all, we never have to hear the words "tuck rule" again. For the last year, we have heard the mob of drunken louts known as "Raider Nation" curse the SB XXXVI Champion Patriots. The Pats didn't deserve it, Silver and Black Boneheads, cried -- we shoulda' been there, and we woulda' won it all, it if weren't for that one call in the Snow Bowl.

Yeah right. When the Pats went to the show, they played the best game in their team's history -- and won. When the Raiders got there (against a weaker opponent), they folded up like a cheap tent. Debate over.

Not, surprisingly, the faithful denizens of Raider Nation reacted to the bad news by trashing their own city. At least 25 Raider fans were arrested and are now, preumably, behind bars -- where they've belonged all along.
