Perhaps I should give some credit for strong start in the 2003 pool to my supply of high-end 'Bumble and Bumble' shampoo. According to Stacey's article (which is quite funny), as a XY, I should be using that toxic sludge called Pert Plus All In One. But in my defense, my sister worked in product and marketing at Bumble and Bumble, and gave me free products ... heck, how could I turn down two dozen FREE bottles of shampoo? I'm still a traditional meat and potatoes man, damn it, I don't care what anyone else thinks ... even if I do drive a Volkswagen. And use fancy shampoo.
