Last year I got so distracted by the trivialties of life -- eating, bathing, earning a living and tending to my family -- that I stopped posting to the pool blog in mid-season. I never even got around to updating the template to let the whole world know that LONE STAR LIZZIE was our new champion. (Sorry, Elizabeth!) But then MULTIPLE people pleaded for the pool's return, and how could I resist? Another great season of picks is near at hand, and the Mighty Mighty Pats are on their way to three-straight Super Bowl wins. (Then I can torment Steeler Ben by saying that my team, too, only needs "one for the thumb!") So, in response to your demands, the POOL IS BACK, and everyone everywhere is entitled to join.
