RAVENS Over on the Yahoo! site, EVEN MORE DISTURBED!!! Glen asks:
The Ravens covered the spread this week but I didn't get any points for that game. Anyone else have the same problem?
No, Glen, they didn't cover. The socre was 24-17. With a 7-point spread, they needed to win by MORE than 7. (Raiders minus 7 = tie game.) So it's a push. Nobody wins, except the house, of course.

DESPAIR NOT Yes, yes, bad week it's been in Pool Land. A great many things unexpected happened did. The Tampa Bay Buccanneers -- a great mystery they are. So, too are the Texans, the Cardinals, the SeaChickens. But no, the MMPF his picks does not regret. A strange thing is the force, flowing through all teams, good and bad. At times, the dark side, clouds the vision, it does. But worry not. I detect a mighty mighty presence in the force. On MNF it shall start.
Here first you heard it.

Nah, we won't need any Gattling Guns
The Scagel Family Takes a vacation in Big Sky Country
Well, rough week for the Scagel family. Lizzie forgot to do her picks. I forgot to do Mac's. We realized it on our way to Mass Sunday morning. We could have turned around, but figured that has got to be a venial sin, at least.
And once again, the NFL does its Sybil routine.
Rams resurgent! Sorry.
The Bungles are roaring! Not really.
Favre is Dome-cursed. Nope.
Well, bad week all around. I bet MMPF wishes he hadn't put his picks in . . .
