That's to say they didn't just take the "kiddie pool" portion, they took the whole prize. Dad, FWIW, didn't do quite so well -- finishing 12th place or some such in the group, just shy of the middle. Oh well, at least I can live vicariously through my kids' triumph ... For what it's worth, the top-scoring adult in Week 1 was Steel Train. What was spectacular, however, was rookie running back Laurence Maroney. And I'd like to point out this one little stat, comparing the Pats' first rounder to a certain other first-round RB: RUSHING ATT YARDS AVG LONG TD Maroney 17 86 5.1 27 0 Bush 14 61 4.4 18 0 Oh, and Corey Dillion didn't look too bad either ...
